# Authentication

To connect to our test or production environment and the different networks, a private client key is required. By using a Client key that is linked to your application, an extra level of security is added, as it allows transaction filtering based on origin. \
\
On alignment of deliverables with our team, a production client key shall be provided to use the APIs in the production environment.
